Within her in-game sprite, she also keeps her hands in her pockets.In Inaba of the Moon and Inaba of the Earth, she's shown to be really good at house chores like cooking and gets embarrassed when noted, besides she don't take too much care of her body health like eating and sleeping well.

Fujiwara no Mokou was formerly an ordinary human, but she became an immortal being after drinking the Hourai Elixir about 1300 years ago. Now she is never able to die, though she still feels the pain of injuries as normal. She's considered to be very powerful, given her long life, the power she earned through her life, and her immortal status since she can keep fighting until she can no longer stand the pain.Perhaps due to of being ostracized for so long, Mokou is a loner by nature and chooses not to socialize with humans or youkai. She escorts lost humans she finds within the Bamboo Forest of the Lost, giving herself a job similar to that of a bamboo forest guide, and even then after escorting between Human Village and Eientei, she departs without saying a word. Nevertheless, to those whom she's acquainted with, she speaks bluntly and with lively personality. In Imperishable Night's extra stage, for example, she was easily roused and goes on a rant about how annoying Kaguya is. Not much else is known about her as she doesn't really talk much to anyone.She undertakes the duty of escorting people in the Bamboo Forest of the Lost. Although this may allow her a wider opportunity to socialise with other people, she still remains very reticent about herself. For example, when asked about her past, she doesn't answer with anything other than "I'm an ordinary health maniac who runs a yakitori stand" (it is unclear whether she truly does run a yakitori stand). However, she seems to happily listen to others' talking. Thus, even if someone doesn't lose one's way, it would be possible for her to be enlivened by a conversation.She presently seems to be very content with her life contrary to being commonly thought of having a pessimistic lifestyle. With an unaging, undying body, she and Kaguya Houraisan kill each other every day, and the text of Imperishable Night even emphasizes this with the line "and she is alive to enjoy it, how magnificent!"

In Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, she is described as being quite strange and eccentric, which makes it difficult for others to understand her. She's also described as being "normally docile" and generally pleasant to be around, but somewhat of a loose cannon if left unwatched. In Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red, it's suggested that she isn't very good at talking to other people, though she can get rather sassy and uppity when talking with her sister. Her friendship toward humans is very low.

Flandre first appeared as the Extra Stage boss of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil with the theme "U.N. Owen was Her?" as well as a target in the Extra Stage of Shoot the Bullet. She's been interviewed in Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red and has had an article in Perfect Memento in Strict Sense and The Grimoire of Marisa.Flandre has lived for at least 495 years, but since she goes crazy a little (due to emotional instability), she has never been taken outside the bounds of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, or rarely leaves the building itself, and as she herself never tried going outside for the respect she has to her sister, she was raised knowing nothing about the outside world. However, she has shown a desire to go outside after witnessing the events of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. Her initial attempt to do so was blocked by Patchouli Knowledge's rain summoning magic, but since then she has been shown outside the mansion when she was destroying a meteor.In the first place, until the time when she met either Marisa Kirisame or Reimu Hakurei in Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, she has not seen any humans other than in cooked form.

But while he looks relaxed and carefree, he is actually dangerously cautious, never acting once he has understandable, rational logic. Asin hides his true nature underneath a poker face, and his cleverness and cunning allow him to disguise the sarcasm in his words. In truth, Asin is cynical, sadistic and acid, a person who thinks only about his ambition: to become the most powerful martial artist of all time, in order to get revenge on those who mistreated him in the past.This is where his nickname, "The Blue Fox of Kanavan" is derived from; like a fox, he maintains a gentle attitude that masks his cunning and devious ways.

Somewhere in Silver Land was the story of a young man named Jin, who dedicated himself to the Silver Knights led by Victor and a martial arts expert named Asin Tairin. Jin learned martial arts with diligence and enterprise. But one day, Victor suddenly disappeared and the Silver Knights were attacked by hundreds of powerful monsters. Victor had betrayed his Silver Knights to the Ascendant God and now lead the army of Black Knights against them.Tairin quickly forced his favorite student to run away. After the initial battle, both thought that the other had been exterminated and mourned their loss. However, Tairin barely managed to escape into a forest, badly wounded. There, a purple-haired boy found him. Feeling pity for the wounded man, he tended to him and healed his injuries.Feeling hopeless yet grateful, Tairin returned the favour by teaching the boy everything he knew of martial arts. The boy learned quickly, delighted with the teachings and the power that accompanied it. However, this also gave him a sense of power, and he often dreamed of making the humans that caused him suffering pay for their misdeeds.Often, Tairin would tell the lad tales of his former student and the tremendous power he had. The boy was impressed and wanted to become stronger. With those thoughts, he trained harder than ever, determined to become the strongest.However, this could not last. Another battle ensued, with monsters suddenly appearing and attacking them. Tairin managed to fend them off to protect his new student, but he was again seriously injured. This time, the injuries proved to be fatal, and he died 2 weeks later. The boy desperately tried to save his master, but when he realized that nothing could be done, he went a little crazy and declared: "Master, I'll put your name as reciprocation for all this, and I swear I'll be stronger than anyone, including Jin." Finally he decided to wear his teacher's first name, Asin.Wandering without purpose, Asin eventually stumbled upon the Grand Chase and sees Jin, who he recalls from the tales told to him by the deceased Tairin.

Usually silent, Azure Kite remains quiet throughout the majority of the series, leaving his voice expressed only through short breaths, or battle cries. Due to the ideal that he does not share his thoughts, however, it seems he is quite determined to protect Aura from any harm.It is questionable how much knowledge he withholds. Regardless, he does appear tactical to some matter prepared to attack when endangered, the ability to distinguish targets, and possibly alteration of battle tactics after failed attempts. Like the previous protagonist, he withholds a certain determination, or in most cases a strict focus on key objectives. Aside from his focus, he possesses certain skill with the bracelet, giving him the ability to repair data in the system. Upon receiving him as a party member in the games, it is revealed that he withholds traits similar to the original Kite, as well as his own personal views on the matter, as the rest of the knights. As a bonus, he yells the words “Data Drain” during the ending credits of the games’ marriage parody. In addition, he also replies in corrupted text upon receiving an item, as well as responding to gift cards sent to him. However, unlike his teammates Azure Kite yells an attack cry rather than the name of the arts used. Aside from fighting AIDA, he presumably spends time in cyberspace, waiting until he is prompted into action.

The beginning of the game details the battle between Haseo and Azure Kite in the cathedral. Sometime after, he is also presented in a video by Yata, appearing before three players and effectively data draining one, showing his ability to move freely throughout The World without the use of Chaos Gates.Azure Kite appears once more during the end of Rebirth after Haseo and the others locate Atoli within the strange room on other side of Morrigu Barrow Wall. The room itself exists outside of areas created and observed by system administrators. Perhaps detecting system abnormalities within the field, he prepares to resolve the situation. However, Haseo, Pi, and Kuhn confront Azure Kite, deciding to combat him. A battle arises, leaving him damaged by the three. Near defeat, Azure Kite uses Drain Heart restoring his data, and from there he transforms into The Azure Flame God, a being similar to an Avatar. Haseo then activates his own avatar, Skeith, and the fight begins. Azure Flame God is defeated and reverts to Azure Kite. His azure colored data revealed, he breaks into data fragments removing him from the area. Afterward, Atoli is attacked by AIDA , possibly the same being Azure Kite was detecting.Throughout the majority of Reminisce, Azure Kite is inactive, recuperating within a unique structure similar to a coffin. Regardless of his condition, he does appear at various points alongside Azure Balmung and Azure Orca as they defeat AIDA on the mirror server and later during Haseo’s battle against Sirius. Nearing the end of the game, he recovers and is free from his casket. The Azure Knights then mobilize to seemly aid Haseo’s party in the battle against Sakaki, but they are halted by Ovan in front of the Sign leading to the Keel Mountains of Briona Gideon The Three Azure Knights rush forth to attack; Ovan then unlocks the barrel on his arm, and the scene cuts. Later Azure Kite severed arm is thrown before Haseo from Ovan whom offers it as a “gift,” soon after he reveals himself as the true Tri-Edge.In Redemption, Azure Kite heals from his previous battle against Ovan far quicker than before. Soon after, the three Azure Knights locate and finish off Sakaki after he falls through Avatar Space and into an Outer Dungeon. Later when Haseo, Yata, and Aina arrive at the Hulle Granz Cathedral, Azure Kite, Azure Balmung, and Azure Orca appear in an attempt to intercept them. As Aina reads from the Epitaph of Twilight a brief skirmish occurs, revealing that Azure Kite is virtually invincible. However, before the fight could continue any further, Aura inhabits Aina’s character, commanding the knights to stand down. He later hands over his weapon to Haseo and leaves. After clearing Redemption, Aura sends an email to Haseo granting him each of the Azure Knights' member addresses.

Nowi, due to the slow aging of manaketes, mostly acts like a child, but it is often done to cheer others up. She loves playing outside and is always looking for a playmate, though she explains to Nah that her constant playing around also serves as her training regimen. Upon joining the army, Nowi immediately understands her cheerful impact on the army and acts accordingly to keep the morale up. Despite this, Nowi is well aware of her Manakete status, and like Tiki, is afraid of being alone, knowing that one day, her human friends will die while she continues to live on for many more millennia, which is shown in her support with Vaike. Nevertheless, Nowi continues to live every day enjoying the time she has with everyone in the army.Nowi has moments showing her maturity, especially with her children to whom she uses less childish language and makes sure to care for them and raise them the best that she can. This is particularly evidenced in her supports with Nah, where she is concerned with Nah's usage of her dragonstone to train, as it is too powerful and may negatively affect younger manaketes. In the following conversations, Nowi shows how much information she picks up while seemingly playing nonchalantly, as well as her ability to heed her child's wishes and incorporate them into her guidance, earning Nah's respect naturally and making her change her initial thoughts about Nowi. Nowi is also shown to be very perceptive to the emotions of others, such as when she notices Nah's pent up sadness upon a glance and lets her cry in her arms.More from her wiki here.

Nowi is a Manakete of an unknown origin or tribe who is around 1,000 years old. Nowi superficially appears and acts like a young girl, but her thoughts and reasoning betray such outer appearance. She is the mother of Nah and can be the potential mother of Morgan.Born on another continent "From the west", Nowi had lived with her parents a long time ago, but after their separation under unknown circumstances, she is said to have lived in a hidden manakete village for the majority of her life. She ventured out upon sensing the Grimleals' activity only very recently prior to the start of Awakening but was captured by humans. Nowi served some time as an entertainer for humans using her Manakete transformation. Her final owners were to be members of the Grimleal who acquired her to be a sacrifice to revive Grima. She managed to escape her captors with Gregor's help, but due to his menacing appearance, Nowi mistakenly took him as one of the captors and ran away from him with the Grimleal also on pursuit. They were caught up by the Grimleals at the Border Wastes, but as fate would have it, they encounter Chrom's army in Border Sands, who was on the way to save Emmeryn. Upon seeing her in battle for the first time, the Avatar and Chrom are surprised when she shifts into her Manakete form. After dealing with the Grimleal and protecting them, Nowi and Gregor decide to join Chrom's army.After the war, if Nowi is not married, she will try to live away from humans, but longed for their company so she embarked on a journey to find her old comrades. If she is married, people often whisper that her husband continued to age while she remained youthful.

Geno acts as a sage-like figure to Mario and his allies. Consequently, Geno offers the heroes advice about matters the others may not understand. For instance, after Mario and his allies liberate Bowser's Keep, Bowser decides to quit the team and return to the castle. However, Geno points out that until Smithy and his factory are destroyed, Bowser's Keep is still at risk. Thus Bowser decides to continue the fight.Geno's personality is strongly based on his confidence and attitude. Geno has more of a defiant, heroic attitude. His eagerness to confront the villain may be due to his status as an authority figure from Star Road. He also tends to show more enthusiasm than any other party member.Geno comes off as very powerful from his first appearance as a doll when Gaz attacks using Geno and accidentally hits Mario and knocks him out. However, when Geno tries to fight Bowyer, upon striking Bowyer says, "Strong you are, but stronger am I!" He also has access to the most powerful attack in the game, Geno Whirl, which deals 9,999 points of damage if timed right.Although powerful, Geno is quite amiable, quick to make friends with Mario and Mallow. He has a strong sense of duty and responsibility, and his role on Star Road may be analogous to Mario's role in the Mushroom Kingdom. He even worries over the "ownership" of his physical form, and promises to return the body to the home from whence it came.

When the Smithy Gang launch their attack on Mario's world, Exor crashes into Bowser's Keep and occupies it. As Exor fell from the sky, he shattered the Star Road, and as a result, seven Star Pieces are scattered throughout the world, and wishes are unable to be granted. Because of this, Geno is sent to retrieve the Star Pieces and restore the power of wishes to the world.Some time later, Rose Town is besieged by the Smithy Gang. Bowyer is launching arrows into the town and paralyzing people. Many people in Rose Town fear leaving their homes out of potentially being paralyzed by one of Bowyer's arrows.During this time of crisis, Mario and Mallow arrive in Rose Town. The pair enters the Town Inn, and while inside, Mario sees a young boy named Gaz playing with his dolls of Mario, Peach, and Bowser. Gaz's mom asks Mario to play with her son, which he agrees to. Mario pretends to be Bowser, and Gaz pretends to be his favorite of the dolls, Geno. Gaz ends up playing too rough however, and activates Geno's "Super Star Shot". Instead of hitting the Bowser doll, the blast accidentally hits Mario, knocking him out.That night, a single star being enters the Inn. Seeing the four dolls on the floor, the star decides to inhabit the Geno doll. Now possessing the doll, the star has problems with walking, and slams into the wall before leaving the inn. Later, Geno admits he chose that particular doll because it appeared to be the strongest of the four.The next morning, Gaz tells his mom that he saw the living Geno walk into the Forest Maze. His mom does not believe this, while Mario goes and enters the woods to find the animated doll. Geno enters the forest to challenge Bowyer, and retrieve the Star Piece that Bowyer's minions had found. Mario and Mallow decide to help Geno, and together, the three defeat Bowyer and acquire the Star Piece.Geno explaining the situation to Mario and Mallow.
After defeating Bowyer, Geno reveals to the heroes that he is a warrior from Star Road and that he has assumed the form of the Geno doll to fight the Smithy Gang. Additionally, he states that wishes can never come true again until all the Star Pieces are recovered. He also reveals his real name, ♡ ♪ ! ?. However, this is impossible to pronounce, so the star warrior assumes the name of the doll: Geno. After explaining everything, Geno decides to join forces with Mario and Mallow to find the remaining Star Pieces.Eventually, Mario, Mallow, Geno, Bowser, and Peach collect the remaining Star Pieces and defeat Smithy. With Smithy destroyed, Geno decides to leave the doll's wooden body, returning to the form of a star and bringing the Star Pieces to Star Road. Repairing the celestial road, the power of wishes return to the world. The lifeless Geno doll can be seen sitting behind Mario and company on Vista Hill while they witness Exor disintegrate.
